Kygo Turns Up the Heat in Vegas with Palm Tree Beach Club Launch

Las Vegas has just added a new heavyweight to its pool party pantheon — and it comes with tropical vibes, a saltwater pool, and Kygo himself behind the decks. On May 3, 2025, the Palm Tree Beach Club officially opened its doors at the MGM Grand, transforming the former Wet Republic space into a sun-drenched sanctuary of house music and beach club luxury.

This isn’t just another VIP dayclub with overpriced bottle service. This is Kygo’s vision of paradise — and he's brought the whole Palm Tree Crew with him. In collaboration with Tao Group Hospitality, this 60,000 square foot dayclub is now one of the most ambitious tropical getaways on the Strip. Think Beverly Hills meets Tulum, with a touch of Scandinavian calm and a whole lot of groove.

Opening Weekend Was Wild

To kick off the season, Kygo headlined an absolutely packed opening day set, joined by longtime collaborators like Justin Jesso and Parson James, plus special appearances from Victoria Nadine and Ava Max. Even the crowd was stacked — celebrities like Sydney Sweeney, Jessica Alba, and Patrick Schwarzenegger all showed up to soak in the sounds and the saltwater vibes. No lie, it felt like a Coachella pool party crash-landed in Vegas.

A Club That Feels Like a Getaway

Designed to accommodate up to 3,000 people, the club includes 12 bungalows, 10 cabanas, and endless daybeds — the kind of setup where you could just as easily get a tan as you could lose your mind to a Fisher drop. It's luxe, it’s relaxed, and it's deliberately aiming for that “Ibiza without the jet lag” aesthetic.

Stacked Season Ahead

And if you missed opening weekend, don’t sweat. The season lineup is bananas: Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Alesso, Fisher, Chris Lake — it’s basically a DJ Mag Top 100 pool party residency. The Palm Tree Beach Club isn't just a venue; it’s a statement that Vegas is still evolving, and it’s evolving with melody, sunshine, and a hell of a lot of tropical energy.

Degenerate Trader Take

So now we've got a Kygo-branded pool palace where you can vibe to tropical house while watching your altcoins bleed in real time. Honestly? Worth it. If I catch a surprise Zedd b2b Alesso set while sipping overpriced piña coladas, that’s alpha in my book. Might even long $KYGO if he ever drops a meme coin. Just don’t stake your rent money for a cabana. Or do — I’m not your financial advisor.
