Primer Festival 2025 Drops First Wave of Lineup—and It's a Massive Statement

Athens is about to be set on fire—again. Primer Festival, one of Greece’s rising electronic music powerhouses, just revealed the first wave of artists for its 2025 edition, and it’s already punching well above its weight.

Set for September 6–7, Primer is leveling up big time this year, moving from its long-time home at Water Square to the colossal Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA). That’s a glow-up and a half, promising bigger production, more space, and undoubtedly louder bass.

Now, onto the lineup: leading the charge is trance titan Armin van Buuren, guaranteed to whip the crowd into an emotional frenzy. Joining him are the techno-meets-melodic duo ARTBAT, and the masked minimal legend himself, Boris Brejcha. Yes, you read that right—Primer’s going full spectrum.

With just these three names, it’s already clear the organizers are swinging for a top-tier European festival spot. And knowing the Greek crowd’s energy? This could be the sleeper banger fest of the year.

TL;DR:

  • 🗓️ Dates: September 6–7, 2025

  • 📍 New Location: OAKA Stadium, Athens

  • 🎧 First Artists Announced: Armin van Buuren, ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha

  • 🎟️ Tickets: On sale now via Primer’s official site

More artists are still to be revealed, but this is already looking like a can’t-miss late summer pilgrimage for any electronic music head in Europe.
